Currently taking place in Las Vegas , the consumer Electronics show in Las Vegas is a gadget fan's dream.
The biggest event of its kind, with over 2,500 tech firms showing off their future wears , it's the ideal place to gauge where technology is heading. As expected , 3D TV's and ebook readers have dominated this year's event , but there were plenty of  ground-breaking gadget on show to wow the crowds.

Light Blue Optic's light touch one of CES 2010's most exciting gadgets came from this relatively unknown  company.The Light Touch uses a laser based pico projector paired with an infrared sensor to beam a touch screen controller onto any flat surface.
